Waterworks
A project to create a TF2 Capture The flag map, using the hammer engine. I wanted to make sure the map was fun and all nine classes were playable. I also created a design document to go along with it. The maps main theme is a water treatment facility, it also includes a sewer. The map is available to download on Steam Workshop now.

This Capture The Flag map was created as part of a university project. Waterworks follows conventions of other tf2 maps, like the three lane structure. The map features a sewer, and makes sure every class has a chance to shine.
The map was play tested numerous times, having 5 iterations by the end of the assignment, below are some progress videos, showing before and after of each round of feedback.
I followed every step of the design process to create this map, form researching existing maps, and drawing out rough sketches on grid paper. To blocking out and eventually playtesting the map.
The map is now avaliable to download on steam workshop
